We would like to give a huge Howbeck welcome to Joanne Goodwin who has joined our team as Senior Programme Manager.
Joanne is a Clinical Pharmacist with over 20 years experience in primary care. After starting her career in clinical trial supplies for the pharmaceutical industry, Joanne transitioned into the NHS and initially worked as a Prescribing Support Pharmacist. Since becoming an Independent Prescriber in 2008, Joanne worked in a large GP practice, providing clinical pharmacy and quality improvement support for the practice team and patients. With the wider introduction of pharmacists working in primary care, Joanne was involved in a successful bid to implement the Clinical Pharmacists in General Practice scheme as a Senior Clinical Pharmacist.
More recently Joanne joined her practice as a Partner and has 3 years experience working as part of the Senior Management Team alongside her clinical role prior to joining the Howbeck Team.
