Alex is a Physician Associate Partner at Montgomery Medical Practice, Powys. His clinical interests include Minor Surgery, Frailty and Psychiatry. Having joined the practice in 2016 he become a partner in 2021.

He helped found the Staffordshire and Shropshire PA internship in 2017 having developed its syllabus. The Internship has seen over 60 graduates to date, he is now the Training Programme Director for number of PA Primary Care Internships in the Midlands and Northwest. In 2018 he completed his PGCert in Medical education.

From 2021-23 he developed and delivered the Staffordshire PDP programme for PAs, UCPs and APPs. He has previously served for 5 years as a PA Ambassador from the inception of the role in 2017.

In 2023 he chaired the inaugural Primary Care Physican Associates Annual Conference which was attended by over 125 Primary Care PAs.
