To take the administrative burden from Practice Managers, South Cheshire and Vale Royal GP Alliance has developed a GDPR Practice Compliance Support Package for the Federations that it supports. This support package includes the following services:
- To act as Data Protection Officer for GP Practices
- Production for all practices of policies, processes, procedures and patient information to comply with GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the new toolkit requirements
- Completion and submission of new toolkit
- To provide Practice Manager training
- Annual GP staff training session
- To work with practices on GDPR compliance and planning
- Development of a knowledge base for Practices
- Management and Reporting of all IG SIRI’s and ICO communication
- Practice updates
