One of our team recently attended an excellent workshop delivered by the Staffordshire Training Hub, which outlined the upcoming changes to the CQC inspection regime and what these mean for GP practices, one element of the CQC focus gives me an opportunity for a shameless plug of the Howbeck Healthcare GP CSO service.
There will be an increased focus by the CQC on IT governance and the use of AI in General Practice, particularly where practices are adopting AI‑driven tools such as AVTs. The CQC made it clear that digital assurance will form a more prominent part of future inspections. Compliance with DCB0160 will be scrutinised more closely in future inspections
