Staffordshire Physician Associate Internship Programme Celebratory Event

Last month saw the Shropshire and Staffordshire Physician Associate (PA) Internship Celebratory Event take place, to mark our 5 year achievement and our 50th graduate Physician Associate (PA) from the programme.

Alex Strivens-Joyce, PA Ambassador and TPD, opened the informal celebration event which was held at Keele Hall for past, present and future Physician Associate (PA) Interns. The teaching and project team were also in attendance which gave all attendees a wonderful opportunity to chat and share their experiences so far.

The event was a great success with presentations from the General Medical Council (GMC) on Regulation Updates for Physician Associates (PAs), but the highlight of the event was enabling us to honour outstanding achievements made by a number of the Physician Associates (PA) by handing them individual commendations.

The event was closed with a mindfulness session on ‘managing wellbeing’ facilitated by Laura Hampson.
